Movie Night

We got our projector in the mail last night, but Paul had class so we couldn't set it up.  Today, as soon as Paul walked in the door from work, he began setting the 135 inch screen up in our living room.  Unfortunately, it was a little too tall and did not fit.  All of us were a little upset that we wouldn't be able to watch a movie on our new big screen until the summertime when we could take it outside.  Then Paul got the genius idea to set it up in our bedroom which has a much higher ceiling.  It took about fifteen minutes total to put the screen together and set the projector up.  The kids chose to watch Planes.  We all snuggled up on our bed and pretended we were at the movie theater. We even had concessions!  Paul and I could not get over how cool the whole experience was; we cannot wait to have movie nights all summer long with our friends!  Since we want to show it off sooner than that, we invited a few friends over to watch the Super Bowl in our garage which we will hopefully be able to heat!!!  Our plan is to move our couches in there and turn it into a man cave!  We ordered a wireless receiver from AT&T so we can watch live TV anywhere.  This screen is going to get a ton of use, in fact, Paul just said that he cannot wait to hook the Wii up to it!  That would be a crazy cool Mario Kart game. Here are the pics from our first movie theater night:
Candy, lemonade and popcorn for the kids and Ghirardelli for Paul and I

Dianna is coming over tomorrow for a play date. If I can figure out how to turn it on then Daniel, Lydia, Austin and Peyton can watch a movie on the big screen too!

Now for today's Eats:

Breakfast:  A Banana and coffee. I really, really need to be better about breakfast!

Lunch:  Steamed veggies and a sweet potato with just a little black pepper. The veggies were cooked perfectly, and the sweet potato was a microwavable one so it was ready in 12 minutes!

Dinner: Tonight we had marinated Mariano's chicken breasts which are always massively huge.  I ate a quarter of a chicken breast with sliced avocado and the Alexia natural cut sea salt fries with Heinz Simply ketchup.  I have decided that I no longer like chicken when it is not disguised.  I could only eat half of my half.  Although, it also may have had to do with the fact that it was baked in the oven instead of grilled. I could not, with good conscious, ask Paul to go outside in this weather to grill! I am so done with this weather!  I miss you mom, but if I were you I would stay in Nevada until May! BTW- that was a joke. You NEED to come home!

Snacks: a few handfuls of the nut mix and two squares of chocolate.

Tomorrow night I have a 31 party at Laura's.  She is doing a 30 day Paleo challenge too, so she promised some yummy Paleo snacks.  I'm excited to be going to a party where I know I can eat!
